Shelly BLU is an advanced sensor designed to monitor the opening and closing of doors or windows. Equipped with a light sensor and the ability to measure tilt angle - it will be ideal for homes, apartments, as well as smaller commercial buildings such as offices or restaurants. The device supports Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, and its long battery life (up to 5 years) and compact size make it an unobtrusive and effective smart home solution.
Detection and measurement
The Shelly BLU sensor not only detects the opening and closing of doors or windows, but also measures the angle of tilt. In addition, the built-in light sensor allows you to monitor light levels. All this will allow you to comprehensively take care of security in your home or office.
2 operating modes to choose from
The device allows you to choose from 2 operating modes: Regular and Beacon. Working in the former, it can transmit, among other things, the current status (open/closed), light level and battery status whenever it detects the opening of a door or window. Beacon mode, on the other hand, allows it to broadcast this information every 30 seconds - an ideal choice if you want continuous monitoring. Also noteworthy is the fact that all transmitted data is encrypted, ensuring maximum protection.
Applications and integration
This practical sensor is ideal for use in, for example, apartments, single-family homes, as well as small offices, restaurants or gas stations. The product is also compatible with the Shelly Smart Control app, which allows its convenient remote operation. So you can enjoy full control over your system wherever you are!
Easy installation
The sensor is extremely light and compact, making it almost unnoticeable when mounted on a door or window frame. Its installation will also not cause you any problems. What's more, all you need to power it is a single CR2032 battery, which is included in the kit. It will ensure the working time of the device reaching up to 5 years - do not be afraid of the need to replace it quickly.
