Equipment Requirements
To ensure a successful transfer, please use the appropriate playback device for your tape format:
- For VHS tapes: A VHS VCR or camcorder
- For sVHS tapes: An sVHS VCR or camcorder (also compatible with VHS)
- For Video 8/Hi8 tapes: A Video 8/Hi8 VCR or camcorder
- For VHSc tapes: A VHSc camcorder, or a VHS VCR using a suitable adapter
Also, ensure your VCR or camera can play back the video standard the tape was recorded in (PAL, SECAM, NTSC). Before you start recording, check that you have enough free space on your hard drive.
