The egg timer is a sensational device for cooking soft, medium or hard boiled eggs. Simply place the timer in the pot with the eggs and watch them change colour as they cook.
The principle is very simple. The red colour slowly fades to the centre and a white colour develops on the sides, like the white of an egg. The longer the eggs are cooked, the more white colour will appear on the timer which means that the eggs are curdling more.
The egg timer does not measure time like a timer, but pretends to be a natural egg by showing the degree of cooking through the transparent shell.
