The operation of the irrigation balls is pure physics. Air-filled gaps appear in the drying substrate. Air bubbles from the ground, through the neck, get inside the ball and, being lighter than water, rise up. In this way, the water is pushed out of the ball and irrigates the ground, in which the air-filled spaces disappear. Another portion of water will be released when the soil dries out again.
The waterer is suitable for potted plants, indoor plants, terraces, hanging baskets, desk pots, hanging and garden plants.
The PVC material from which the balls are made is unbreakable and transparent. So you can clearly see the amount of water inside, and the balls themselves are discreet and unobtrusive.
