The Aputure Light Octadome 120 is an octagonal folding softbox with a diameter of 120 cm. With it you can effectively diffuse and soften the spot light of your lamp. The softbox is compatible with the Bowens mounting standard. So you can connect it not only to Aputure Light Storm lights, but also to other continuous and flash light sources supporting this popular system. Included with the softbox you will find up to 3 diffusion fabrics (one inner and two outer) and a grid, popularly known as a honeycomb. The sturdy carry bag will allow you to conveniently pack all accessories, which will certainly make travel and storage easier.

Forget diffusion panels!
The octagonal design of the modifier provides a rounder and more natural light output than can be achieved using diffusion panels found on sets installed in 4 x 4 racks, or classic rectangular softboxes. The Aputure Light Octadome 120 also provides excellent ergonomics. You attach the grid and diffusers directly to the dome, so you won't need any additional tripods, brackets or sandbags weighing down the structure!

Matched light diffusion
With the Aputure Light Octadome 120 sofbox you will find 3 diffusion fabrics. The inner diffuser offers a diffusion of -1.5 EV. You will install another two fabrics on the dome, much further away from the lamp burner. They provide diffusion at 2 different levels: -1.5 EV and -2.5 EV. You can combine them in any combination, softening light and blurring shadows as required.

Precise light beam control
