LatviaThe FOSSIBOT FAC580 is a DC-DC car charger with a maximum output power of 580 W, designed for rapid recharging of portable power stations while driving. With up to 92% conversion efficiency, it charges up to 6 times faster than a standard 96 W cigarette lighter socket. The unit is compatible with all FOSSiBOT power stations as well as 99% of models from other brands, making it suitable for cars, SUVs, pickups, RVs, trucks, and yachts.
Two Tailored Operating Modes
The FAC580 adjusts output power according to input voltage to optimize electrical energy usage. In Mode 1 (for driving), power output reaches up to 300 W at 13.2–14 V and up to 580 W above 14 V, stopping below 13.2 V. Mode 2 is designed for situations when the engine is off, delivering up to 300 W at 12–12.75 V and up to 580 W above 12.75 V. If voltage drops below 12 V, the charger cuts power to protect the vehicle battery from over-discharge.
Stable Cooling and Comprehensive Protection
A cooling system featuring a fan on the left side and a ventilation vent on the right helps maintain steady operation. The device integrates multi-level protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, reverse polarity, and extreme temperatures, safeguarding the vehicle battery, the charger, and the connected power station.
