Tarnevõimalused – tarneriik:
LatviaThe SunSun CUV-224 is a UV-C lamp designed for garden ponds with a capacity of up to 35 000 liters. It effectively reduces algae growth, bacteria, and other microorganisms responsible for cloudy and green water. Operating completely without chemicals, it maintains water clarity safely for fish, plants, and the aquatic ecosystem. The unit is fitted with a 24 W UV-C bulb with a total power consumption of 26 W and universal hose adapters for 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", and 1 1/2" diameters.
Effective Control of Algae and Bacteria
As pond water flows through the irradiation chamber, UV-C rays neutralize suspended algae cells, harmful bacteria, and fungal spores. The dead algae clump together into larger particles, allowing standard mechanical or biological pond filters to trap them easily, supporting long-term water clarity.
Spiral Flow Mechanism
An integrated internal helix directs water flow along a spiral path around the quartz glass tube. This path increases the contact time between the water and the UV-C radiation compared to straight-through designs, boosting clarifying performance. It pairs effectively with external filters at water flow rates up to 4 500 L/h.
Robust Outdoor Construction
Constructed from durable ASA and ABS plastics, the CUV-224 holds an IP44 ingress protection rating for safe outdoor garden installations. Per VDE guidelines, the unit should be installed at least 2 meters from the water’s edge. The UV-C bulb has an estimated operating life of 8 000 hours. For specialized koi ponds requiring approximately 3 W of UV-C power per 1 m³ of water, this unit is suitable for volumes up to approximately 8 000 liters.
