This compact mini walkie-talkie lets you exchange short voice messages without a phone or app. The black variant has 16 channels, 2 W transmit power and a built-in 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery. One radio is supplied.
Communication and controls
The approximate range is 0.5–1 km. Actual range depends on terrain, buildings, walls, interference and surrounding conditions. Two radios must be set to the same channel to communicate.
- PTT control: hold the side button while speaking and release it to receive messages.
- Channel selection: press M, select a channel with the up and down buttons, then confirm with M. The power button also operates the channel lock.
- Audio: 8 volume levels, voice announcements, a built-in speaker and a headphone socket.
- VOX: voice-activated transmission without pressing PTT; this function requires prior setup using suitable configuration software.
Charging and carrying
Charge the battery through the USB-C port. Battery-saving mode reduces standby energy use, while automatic shutdown switches the radio off after a period of inactivity. To switch it on, hold the smaller side button for about 3 seconds; an indicator light confirms activation.
Total height including the antenna is 8.2 cm. A rear clip attaches the radio to a belt or clothing, while the supplied strap allows it to be worn around the neck.
