The Newell RS3-N3 is a wired remote shutter release designed for compatible Nikon cameras, serving as a replacement for the Nikon MC-DC2 remote control.
Vibration-Free Shooting
Releasing the shutter manually on a tripod-mounted camera can cause micro-vibrations that reduce sharpness. A wired remote eliminates direct camera contact, making it suitable for long-exposure night photography, macro shots, and telephoto lenses.
Controls and Handling
- Two-Level Button: Press halfway to activate autofocus, and press fully to release the shutter.
- Shutter Lock: Locks the shutter button in place for Bulb mode long exposures and continuous burst shooting without holding down the control.
- Plug and Play: Ready to operate immediately upon connection without requiring batteries.
- Integrated Clip: Features a built-in clip that allows the remote to hang directly on the cable.
