The Yongnuo YN 50 mm f/1.8 DA DSM II is a versatile prime lens designed for Sony E-mount cameras with APS-C sensor coverage, suitable for both photography and video production.
Refined Optical Performance
Its optical formula consists of 8 elements arranged in 7 groups, featuring multi-coated lenses to minimize flare and ghosting while maximizing light transmission. The integration of low-dispersion glass delivers clear, detailed images across the entire frame. The bright f/1.8 maximum aperture with a 7-blade diaphragm allows for smooth background blur and strong performance in low-light environments.
Fast Autofocus and Durable Design
Equipped with a DSM stepping motor and revised control algorithms, this lens delivers swift, accurate, and quiet autofocus. The textured barrel finish provides a secure grip with fingerprint resistance, while a hydrophobic front coating repels dust and grease. A metal bayonet with gold-plated contacts ensures reliable camera communication, complemented by a USB-C port for firmware updates.
