The Yongnuo YN 35 mm f/2.0 is a fixed-focal-length lens designed for full-frame cameras with a Nikon F mount, and it is also compatible with APS-C sensor cameras.
Optical Design and Aperture Range
With its classic 35 mm focal length and a 63° field of view, this lens captures the main subject alongside its environment without wide-angle distortion. The optical design consists of 7 lenses arranged in 5 groups. The large f/2.0 maximum aperture allows more light to reach the sensor in low light and produces a shallow depth of field with background blur, while the aperture can be stopped down to f/19 for full-scene sharpness across 7 aperture blades.
Focusing and Filter Support
The lens features an autofocus system alongside a physical AF / MF switch on the barrel for quick transitions to manual focus. Its minimum focusing distance is 25 cm (0.25 m), enabling close-up captures. The front thread supports standard 58 mm diameter filters.
