The Yongnuo YN 14mm f/2.8 is an ultra-wide, high-brightness prime lens designed for full-frame cameras with the Canon EF mount, and is also fully functional on APS-C format bodies.
Ultra-Wide Perspective and Optical System
With its 14mm focal length, this lens delivers an expansive 114° angle of view, making it suitable for vast landscapes, monumental architecture, and tight interior spaces. The optical construction features 12 elements arranged in 9 groups, employing specialized coatings to suppress aberrations and flare.
Fast Aperture and Depth-of-Field Control
The bright f/2.8 aperture captures abundant light for low-light environments and allows selective focus with background blur. The aperture range closes down to f/22, providing extensive depth of field to keep foreground and background elements sharp.
Autofocus and Operating Features
- Equipped with a precise autofocus (AF) system and an AF/MF physical switch on the barrel.
- Clear depth of field scale for straightforward focusing verification.
- Minimum focusing distance of 0.2 meters (20 cm) with a 0.15x reproduction ratio.
- Integrated micro USB port for lens firmware updates to maintain camera compatibility.
