The Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph lens kit includes three compact anamorphic cinema lenses (27mm T2.8, 35mm T2.4, and 50mm T2.4) engineered for filmmakers shooting on Super 35 sensors with Arri PL or Canon EF mounts.
Cinematic 1.5x Anamorphic Squeeze and Blue Flares
Each lens delivers a 1.5x horizontal squeeze ratio, producing a cinematic 2.4:1 widescreen aspect ratio on standard 16:9 sensors. The Blue variant produces distinctive cool horizontal lens flares alongside classic oval bokeh. All three lenses share an optical formula of 15 elements in 13 groups and utilize a 13-blade aperture design.
Interchangeable Mounts and Follow Focus Ready
Interchangeable bayonets allow mounting directly to Arri PL or Canon EF systems without optical adapters. Both focus and aperture rings feature standard 0.8 MOD cine gears in uniform positions across the series. With front diameters of 80mm, 77mm filter threads, and lengths under 7.5 cm, these lenses balance easily on gimbals, sliders, drones, and handheld rigs.
