The Laowa D-Dreamer 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is an ultra-wide rectilinear full-frame prime lens designed for Canon RF mount cameras, suited for landscape, architectural, interior, and astrophotography.
Zero-D Optical Construction
Laowa Zero-D technology ensures close-to-zero optical distortion at infinity focus, keeping straight architectural lines true without post-processing warping. The optical formula incorporates 16 elements in 10 groups, including 3 extra-low dispersion (ED) elements and 2 aspherical elements to control chromatic aberration and maintain edge-to-edge sharpness even wide open at f/2.8.
Ultra-Wide Perspective and Low Light Performance
With an expansive 121.96° (approx. 122°) angle of view, this lens captures spacious scenes in tight spaces and vast outdoor vistas. The fast f/2.8 aperture benefits night-sky astrophotography by gathering ample light and reducing exposure times. The front element features Laowa Frog Eye Coating (FEC) to repel water and dust.
