This thermal washer is a universal fastening component designed for mounting cellular polycarbonate sheets directly to frame cross members.
Effective Sealing and Thermal Insulation
The washer serves two essential functions: securing the polycarbonate sheets securely in place and insulating the connection points against precipitation and cold air. Unlike traditional direct metal screw fastening, it prevents cold from penetrating the structure through mounting holes.
Key Features
- A specialized foam plastic gasket provides a tight seal while allowing natural thermal expansion during warmer weather.
- A snap-on protective cover conceals the mounting screw, shielding the fastener and providing a clean finish.
- Engineered to withstand mechanical loads and adverse outdoor conditions.
